This course is delivered by the LSCB and LADO. In Section 11 of the Children Act 2004 it states that statutory voluntary and community organisations should ensure that they have clear policies in place to provide advice and guidance on how to deal with allegations against people who work with children.
This session aims to provide employers and managers with an introduction to the systems and procedures that are in place for responding to allegations made against people who work with children.
This training is for the case manager i.e. Headteacher and Chair of Governors. These are the posts who hold this responsibility.It is expected that delegates will have completed basic safeguarding training.
