All schools in Wakefield District have been sent and encouraged to undertake an annual self-assessment of their safeguarding arrangements. The Safeguarding Advisor for Education has reviewed and updated the full audit tool to ensure that it is consistent with all current guidance and the current inspection framework – September 2016.
This is a self-evaluation and it is designed to be a learning process and a mechanism by which strengths and areas for development can be identified by the DSL team. This can then be signed off by governors and kept for your own records and review.
